Logos are all around us, in most cases we don’t think about them. We simply remember them and get used to them, to their colors, shapes, fonts. However Hidden messages in logos are very common. For me as a graphic designer, this is a topic that I deal with every day and create logos in order to say as much as possible with a few elements. This is achieved with hidden messages in the logos. For the logos I processed in the blog, there is the genius of their creators. I tried to show everything pictorially so that it would be clear to you what kind of hidden messages in the logos are.
FedEx is well known and popular shipping company. The company is also very well known for its logo and belongs to the group logos with a hidden messages. Logo have two colors or simple type, but if you look a little more carefully between the letters ‘E’ and ‘x’. You will see an arrow in the negative space. The symbolism of the hidden message in the logo is clear. The arrow indicates forward movement, precision and speed.

This is due to their aviation history dating back to 1920s.
4. Le Tour De France
Is Le Tour De France another logo with a hidden message? I think it can be clearly seen from the picture I made. Here we have two subliminal messages in logo. One is a cyclist from the letter ‘ouro’ and the other is the yellow letter ‘o’ represents the sun. This indicates the summer time, when the famous race takes place.
5. London Symphony Orchestra (LSO)
The logo for the London Symphony Orchestra is a true masterpiece. Here we have even two hidden messages in logo. With the free style of drawing, the initials ‘LSO’ are made but if you look closely, they actually make up the conductor. Ingenious.
6. Eighty 20
A South African analytics consultancy agency Eighty 20’s has an incredibly nicely implemented logo idea. Namely, squares represent a binary pattern for 1010000 and 0010100. That means eighty and twenty. This is not just a hidden message in the logo, it is also a secret message in the logo.
7. Museum of London
The logo with hidden messages is in front of us. In order to see these messages, a certain historical knowledge of the geography of London is needed. Abstract round spots of different colors represent different geographical shapes of London throughout history. This represents a constant change of London from the past through the present and into the future.
8. Sony VAIO
We associate the world-famous brand Sony Sony (Visual Audio Intelligent Organizer) with technology. But have you ever analyzed his logo? It can be considered synonymous with subliminal messages logos. First we have a shape that creates the letters VAIO. Secondly we have two strong symbols. The first symbol is created from the letter 'VA' and represents an analog signal wave. The second symbol is created from the letter ‘IO’ and represents the digital signal of numbers 1 and 0. These are really strongly hidden messages in the logo.
9. Baskin Robbins
When we think of the unlimited number of flavors of ice cream from Baskin Robbins, in fact that number is limited to exactly 31. We can find that hidden message in their logo. Namely, the letters 'B' and 'R' are created from the numbers 3 and 1.
The logo of the most powerful online trading website was also created to belong to the group of logos with hidden message. The message is very clear, the arrow below the logo shows from ‘a’ to ‘z’. That means we sell everything from ‘a’ to ‘z’. We also see that the arrow has the shape of a smile. It symbolizes happy people when shopping with them.
When we talk about hidden messages logos we can’t get around this masterpiece. NBC has several hidden messages in its logo. The first thing we see is a peacock with spread feathers. The peacock is created so that his head and neck can be seen in the negative. In addition, the logo appeared when black-and-white televisions were still used. The logo was created in a range of colors to show that their program was broadcast in color. The number of colors is 6, which represents 6 different divisions within NBC.
The creators of logos with hidden messages have different ways of doing it. One of the leaders in Internet networking, Cisco, has a logo with two symbols in its illustration. The first is the Bridge in San Francisco, the so-called Golden Gate. And the other is the appearance of the electromagnet.
13. Beats by dr. dre
Another ingenious logo design. Subliminal messages logo Beats is presented in a very simple and clear way. We have the letter ‘b’ in the red circle, which represents the head with headphones. And headphones are their main product. The message is that the customer sees himself with headphones on his head.
In the picture I presented I think there is a clear hidden message in the logo. ‘TiT’ Represents two loafers holding chips and sauce on the table. Also, stylistic representations are as they entertain, thus sending a clear message of fun and enjoyment.
The Carrefour logo is created from two left and right arrows with a negative 'C' in the middle. Hidden messages in logos can be represented in different ways, but in this case the arrows indicate east and west. In this way, the brand represents its ambitions and the breadth of its offer.
16. Milwaukee Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers logo represents a glove that catches a baseball. But what you don't see at first glance is that this glove is made of the initials 'm' and 'b'.
The Rotring logo is a well-known brand of technical pens. Subliminal messages in logos can also be very simple. In this case we have a large dot in the letter ‘o’, which represents the basis of the drawings, created by their products, rapidographs and pens.
18. Sun Microsystems
Logos with hidden messages may look like ordinary drawings at first glance, but if you take a good look at the Sun Microsystems logo no matter how you turn it, you will always be able to read SUN.
Every day is a challenge, people have to strive to overcome them. Adidas presented its hidden message in the logo with three stripes under the slope, which represent the mountain.
The overall look of the IBM logo consists of letters and white lines running through it. In this way, the equality of IBM characters is given. The secret message of the logo is that, it represents equality.
The well-known globe of Wikipedia is actually a hidden message. The globe is made up of jigsaw puzzles with letters of different world letters but the globe is not complete. It is this symbolism that users need to add their content to complete it. That is also the mission of the company.
Hidden messages in logos can be clearly seen with the Unilever brand. In their logo design, the designer managed to implement a lot of small products that build the letter 'U'. They are otherwise the manufacturer of a ton of different products.
23. Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
The logo of the zoo is presented as a magnificent tree. Logos with a hidden messages often look common, but when we look at another look then we see some details. The wood in the negative hides the gorilla’s head and the lion’s head. Below we see fish in the negative. A great example of hidden messages in a logo.
The Swiss company for the production of delicious chocolates has a hidden message in logo design. Their logo is an illustration of the famous Matterhorn peak, but in the negative there is a clear image of a bear. It should symbolize the taste of honey in chocolate and the fact that the production of Toblerone in the City of Bears-BERN.
Toyota has a really impressive sign if we look at it from the angle of symbolism and subliminal messages in logos. The circles in the logo give symbolism to the united hearts of Toyota vehicle buyers. The space between represents more opportunities for progress and development. It is also impressive that within the logo we can see all the letters that create the word Toyota. And the most impressive thing is that this logo was made in Golden Ratio. Hidden messages in a logo can only be the meaning of how a logo came about. On the example of the Audi logo we have four circuits connected. It is the symbolism of the united four companies.
Continental tires is a logo with hidden message. The first letter 'C' is wrapped around the letter 'o'. The empty space between creates a rubber. Simple and smart.
This is certainly the most popular logo in the world. I have many interpretations for the famous apple. I'll single out two. The first is that Apple founder Steve Jobs said that if he doesn't find anything that will be the company's logo, it will be an apple. The second is that the logo is associated with a biblical story. Eva took an apple from the Tree of Knowledge and took a bite. The logo was done in Golden Ratio, which I specifically covered in my blog Golden Ratio in Logo Design. Apple definitely has a subliminal messages logo.
The Google logo has a very subtle hidden messages logo. Namely, the logo was created to use a sans font, which with its regular lines symbolizes playing by the rules. Also, it uses basic colors but with percent mixed, it symbolizes fun. However, the letter 'l' is green, this color is not from the basic palette. It is an idea that there is still some freedom in playing by the rules.
The company produces razors for shaving. They have a very simple typographic logo. However, we will not forget the hidden message in logos in this case as well. The logo has precisely cut off the ends of the letter 'G' and the dots on the letter 'i'. Like it was done with a razor. But even so, in the negative we can see the appearance of a two-layer razors, which made the company became famous.
Hidden messages logos aim to convey the basic action or ambition of the company with that message. This is exactly the case with Pinterest. The 'P' logo was created to represent a pushpin, which is the main principle of operation of this website. Pining something on your wall.
32. Hope for African Children Initiative
This logo in the negative is the African continent, but if we look a little more carefully we will see the logo with a hidden message again. The continent is created from the child's head down to the left and to the adult's right. The logo indicates the care of children.
A wooden block printed in the nineteenth century hides the answer to the question of how the Quiksilver logo was created. In the picture we see a big wave and in the background Mount Fuji. Subliminal messages in logo is just that wave and that mountain.
The company, founded by Dave Thomas, was named after his daughter Wendy. The company sells fast food. Logo is a cute girl, but if we take a closer look, we can find a subliminal message on her neck. Another logos with hidden messages. The South Korean carmaker company has the first letter of their name 'H' in its logo. However, they explain that these are two men shaking hands. The form of Levi's logo also hides some hidden message. The lower part of that form has the shape of a “butt”. But maybe that’s the shape of their pockets, too.
37. Formula 1
The well-known Formula 1 logo is also a logo with a hidden message. The first is a combination of colors, where red means passion, and black means strength. The logo combines the letter ‘F’ with the number ‘1’ in the negative it creates with red stripes, which symbolize speed. It is now an old logo, as the logo has recently changed. The new logo represents a race track with a curve forming the letter ‘F’ and a straight line representing the number ‘1’.
38. The Bronx Zoo
The largest zoo in North America located in the Bronx, New York City has hidden details in its logo. The logo is a creation of two long-legged giraffes. But New York skyscrapers are hiding between their legs.
The non-profit organization Goodwill has an interesting logo that represents their role. They improve people's lives, symbolically give them smiles on their faces. Their logo has two smiles. One on the logo and one in the shape of the letter 'g'.
The logo was created as a cursive font and looks normal. But the hidden message in the logo is hidden in the first letter ‘C’. The chicken can be seen quite clearly.
